Sports games, as a rule, have an evolutionary model of development. This means that you don’t see much difference in games from one year to the next. Codemasters, however, manages to come up with a cricket game that is absolutely thrilling. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is immersive and the overall product is almost perfect.

Another negative is the lack of comprehensive commentary. This is the downfall of countless sports games. Even though the game comes on a Blu-Ray disc, which surely has plenty of free space for more commentary, the commentators run out of words after the first few games.

But that is a minor glitch, not enough to spoil the gaming experience. Cricket fans should order a copy of this game immediately!

I first ran into ThreatFire a few years ago while looking for free anti-virus softwares. I didn’t have money for paid software, and didn’t trust/like, cracked products.

Surprisingly, I found users posting rave reviews about ThreatFire on product neutral forums. Some rated it even higher than paid solutions. Running it for the first time on my PC promptly resulted in elimination of hundreds of corrupt files.

I’d recommend this to you if you are looking for a good anti-virus.

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (PSP)

If the screen-shot above isn’t tempting enough, imagine an entire Hogwarts, with all its intricacies, created using LEGO bricks. Even the paintings are recreated using LEGO blocks.

The “Years 1-4” in the title makes it obvious that you will be following Harry Potter’s story in his first four years at Hogwarts. This will probably be more fun than any previous version of a Harry Potter game.
