International Cricket 2010 by Codemasters
Author: boxieblueThere’s only one negative point about International Cricket 2010 by Codemasters: it doesn’t have the license to use original cricketer names. That’s a pity, because it far outperforms any other cricket game so far.
Sports games, as a rule, have an evolutionary model of development. This means that you don’t see much difference in games from one year to the next. Codemasters, however, manages to come up with a cricket game that is absolutely thrilling. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is immersive and the overall product is almost perfect.
Another negative is the lack of comprehensive commentary. This is the downfall of countless sports games. Even though the game comes on a Blu-Ray disc, which surely has plenty of free space for more commentary, the commentators run out of words after the first few games.
But that is a minor glitch, not enough to spoil the gaming experience. Cricket fans should order a copy of this game immediately!
